First Aid

Course Description:

This course trains participants to identify and care for victims of illness and sudden injuries. You will learn how to control bleeding, minimize the effects of shock, and care for musculoskeletal injuries and sudden illness due to poisoning and heat and cold related emergencies. Ideal for anyone who wants to learn basic first aid skills but does not need rescue breathing or CPR training.

Course cost includes the First Aid Student Manual. Students wishing to receive the manual prior to the class (recommended) may add shipping cost below, or pick the manual up directly from our office. To ensure timely delivery of student manuals, students should pay for the class, with shipping, at least five business days before the scheduled course date (students will receive any additional items ordered at the class).

There will be a 7% refund processing fee if students must receive a refund.

CPR/AED For Lay Rescuers:

Course Description:

This is a comprehensive CPR/AED class incorporating pediatric and adult applications, which meets state requirements for child care providers, lifeguards, etc. Students should dress comfortably and come prepared to practice and demonstrate skills on the floor on a manikin.

A 2010 updated AHA student manual is included in the cost of the course. Students wishing to receive the manual prior to the class (recommended) may add shipping cost below, or pick the manual up directly from our office. To ensure timely delivery of student manuals, students should pay for the class, with shipping, at least five business days before the scheduled course date (students will receive any additional items ordered at the class).

BLS for Healthcare Providers:

Course Description:

Students may reschedule at no charge, a minimum of 48 business hours prior to class. Reschedules without 48 business hours prior notice will be charged $20.00.

BLS CPR Online Key Code - PART 1:

Course Description:

This is a TWO-PART COURSE for CPR for Healthcare Provider certification. When you sign up for this course, you will receive a “key code” via e-mail, to complete PART 1 – the ONLINE portion of the course. After completing PART 1, ENROLL SEPARATELY in PART 2, by going to: www.ohc-inc.com. Scroll through the Course Schedule to find BLS CPR CLASSROOM SKILLS – PART 2, select your preferred date and sign up. STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE BOTH PART 1 and PART 2 of the course, in order to receive BLS Provider certification. Your “key code” WILL BE SENT TO THE E-MAIL YOU USE HERE TO ENROLL.

BLS CPR Classroom Skills - PART 2:

This is the required CLASSROOM SKILLS SESSION, PART 2 of the Online BLS CPR Provider course. Students must bring their printed Certificate of Completion for PART 1, to be admitted to class.
